A second light, briefly.
Read the collectionA handful of paintings finished in recent weeks — across the six regions. Each one of one.
Every painting is begun after order. Cotton canvas is stretched on kiln-dried pine bars; the surface is primed; the sketch is drawn and sent to the collector for approval; only then does the first stroke of paint go on. Three to four weeks for sizes up to 60 inches; six to eight for the largest pieces.

Govardhan in the late afternoon, when the parikrama path is still warm and the cattle are walking back. Barsana on the day of Lathmar Holi, when the colour stays in the air for hours. Vrindavan at the hour Banke Bihari opens his curtains, brief as a glimpse.

The studio takes a small number of festival-window orders between September and November — a Diwali gift, a Janmashtami devotional, a painting for a new home. Order now to receive in three to four weeks.
A small number of larger reliefs leave the studio each year. The conversation begins privately.
